After bringing Alex back from the dead, now it seems the time has come for Captain Price to be added to Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone as a new operator, according to the game’s latest teaser trailer.
Call of Duty ‘s official YouTube account has uploaded a new video today, showcasing a classified conversation between two enemy armies in Call of Duty Modern Warfare around terrorizing Captain Price. While the trailer doesn’t reveal anything officially, it’s probably teasing Season 4 with Captain Price as the new operator.
With every seasonal update, Infinity Ward brings new operators, new maps, new game modes, and a bunch of new weapons to the game. Regarding the fact that every season lasts nearly two months, it’s safe to say that Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 will likely be available earlier in June, though it’s yet to be confirmed.
With Season 2, Infinity Ward added Call of Duty Warzone as a standalone free-to-play Battle Royale mode to the game, which brought over 60 million players to the series’ very first free-to-play title in nearly two months. Warzone has received many fixes since its launch, but the game is still struggling with cheaters and hackers on PC, which makes a major part of console players turn off the cross-play option in matchmaking.
Call of Duty Warzone has been planned to be supported for a long time by Infinity Ward as the studio revealed during a recent interview. The game is supposed to act as a through-line for the other upcoming sub-franchisees of the Call of Duty series in the future.
While Infinity Ward is busy supporting Modern Warfare and Warzone , the other studios of Activision are working on the next Call of Duty game which is rumored to be a reboot of the Black Ops series called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War .
